The Banksia Project is a mental health initiative that focuses on mental health prevention and recovery in the male community.
The Banksia Project aims to empower men through community lead therapeutic lifestyle changes and solutions that will lead to positive mental health. The Banksia Project is a community lead and funded platform that connects charities and mental health services to the community.

The Banksia Project – A men’s mental wellness initiative combining awareness building with constructive action. This is achieved through:
• Empowering Community and peer support;
• Enhancing social connection and learning through the sharing of experiences
• Promotion and adoption of positive, evidence-based lifestyle and mental health practices.

The Banksia Project is a mental health initiative that focuses on mental health prevention and recovery in the male communityThe Banksia Project will focus on a broad range of issues and solutions in the context of men in current society. It achieves this through two platforms:

* The Garden Rooms- Free open forums on Mental health and wellness
* The Growth Rooms- Private men’s groups lead by trained facilitators, focused on mental wellness.

The Garden Rooms occur once a quarter and the Growth Rooms once a month beginning in March 2017.

Growth Rooms Book Now

Male only community support groups lead by trained facilitators discussing a range of topics from stress management, mental illness to wellness practices. All groups will have a Mental Health professional referral network and clinical supervision from partner institutions.

The Garden Rooms

Free collaborative information evenings incorporating Q&A discussions with expert panelists and educators from Mental Health Institutions, Charities and other targeted providers, as we bring together members of our broader community (including partners) for one night to enhance their understanding of mental health issues facing men.
